Autumn is a season of transition. The air turns crisp, the leaves begin to fall, and nature gently invites us to slow down, reflect, and reset. It’s a time to release what no longer supports us, and to nurture what helps us thrive.
October brings powerful themes of change and self-care. It’s Stoptober and Go Sober, national campaigns encouraging people to stop smoking and drinking. It’s also Menopause Awareness Month, a chance to explore midlife wellbeing and emotional renewal. This season reminds us that change doesn’t have to be dramatic, it can be intentional, gentle, and deeply restorative.
In therapy, this is a time when many clients feel ready to shift. Some are exploring new habits, reconnecting with their bodies, or seeking clarity after a busy summer. Hypnotherapy and counselling offer supportive, effective ways to move forward.
Stoptober Support - Special Offer
If you’re considering stopping smoking, I’m offering £25 off a Stop Smoking hypnotherapy session when booked during October.
The session can be scheduled anytime between now and the end of 2025, giving you space to choose the right moment.
This session is designed to:
• Work with the unconscious patterns that drive smoking
• Explore the emotional role of the habit (stress relief, identity, routine)
• Build new associations
• Allow you to focus on what you'll gain when you stop
• Support long-term change
• Utilises the Rob Kelly Stop SMoking Method, proven to be over 92% effective
Menopause & Midlife - Reclaiming Vitality
October also brings attention to menopause, a life phase that’s often misunderstood or overlooked. In therapy, we explore this transition as a time of recalibration and renewal. Clients may be navigating:
• Emotional shifts and identity changes
• Fatigue, brain fog, and nervous system support
• Relationship dynamics and boundary setting
• Reconnecting with joy, sensuality, and self-worth
This work helps you feel more attuned to your needs, more confident in your choices, and more supported in your body.
