Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis, a naturally occuring state of mind that we drift in and out of on a daily basis. During hypnosis your unconscious mind becomes more receptive to suggestions, new ideas and changes in thoughts, feelings or behaviours.
Brief psychotherapy is a fast, effective approach to help you learn about how you think, feel, and act in ways that are unhelpful, unwanted or dysfunctional. It enables you to find new ways to think, act, and feel, making the changes that will serve you better.
Solution-Focused Counselling assists in identifying what changes you would like in your life in order to reach your goal and helps you find objectives or ways to achieve those changes and resolve the problems. It is very much future-orientated.
EMDR is a form of psychotherapy that addresses the past, present and future aspects of a traumatic or dysfunctional memory, and transforms the emotional, sensory and cognitive components so that they are no longer distressing.
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) refers to techniques and methods that are used to gain an insight into the thinking and behavioural patterns that you use in daily life and to modify them where appropriate and beneficial.
Reiki is an ancient holistic healing therapy thought to have originated in Tibet thousands of years ago. It is a gentle yet powerful form of hands-on healing that helps to restore balance and harmony to the mind, body & spirit.
Old Pain 2 Go
This technique may remove or reduce ‘old pain’ messages that you no longer need, in a safe and effective way with permanent results. In addition to relieving pain, it can also be used to help fibromyalgia and CFS/ME.

Therapies I Use
There are a wide range of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP and solution-focused counselling techniques that have proven to be useful in helping people make positive changes to their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I don’t believe that there is just one model that can help everyone. Each person is a unique and individual and as such, your therapy should be tailored towards your specific needs, using different techniques and approaches to suit you.
Most sessions involve hypnotherapy as it is my belief that this is the therapy that has the most profound effect, although elements of all, tend to be incorporated. I’ll work directly with you to help re-train your mind so that you become more flexible in your thinking and stop you engaging in unwanted automated thinking, feeling and behaviour.
For the vast majority of sessions, I work using the therapies above, however, for those that with to have Reiki or a Past Life Regression, I am also trained in these areas.
Reiki is useful for issues affecting you physically, mentally and emotionally and is a more spiritual therapy, which helps to re-balance, relax and heal you from within.
For those who believe in past lives, past life regression therapy can be an incredibly useful tool for helping individuals who are unsure as to where their ailments or thoughts, feelings and responses originate from and aiding them in moving on in this life. Others are more interested in past life regression purely out of curiosity and no therapy is actually required.
Many of us today lead such busy lives that it seems we are always looking for ways to reduce stress and tiredness and increase our energy levels. We all need rest and relaxation. Some suffer from aches and pains or have feelings of anxiety, frustration or fears. We can lack confidence, purpose or direction in life or perhaps simply feel that ‘something’ is missing. If you can relate to any of these, then the therapies I offer, either individually or combined, can help you re-balance yourself so that you feel positive and stronger at all levels, promoting well-being and contentment on a mental, physical and emotional level.
