About Nicolette Pinkney
As a professional, fully qualified and registered hypnotherapist, I work from my Inspiring Changes practice based on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border. I am fully insured and adhere to a strict code of ethics.
I have diplomas in Hypnotherapy, Solution-Focused Counselling and Psychotherapy and Advanced Smoking Cessation. I am also certified as a practitioner in the use of EMDR (Eyes Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing).
In addition, I continually update and expand on my skills and knowledge by attending workshops and courses that are both relevant and appropriate to this field.
I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, the largest and one of the most highly regarded professional organisations for hypnotherapists and am also validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
My background was initially in science and engineering, however, over the years I became more and more interested in the power of our minds; how our thoughts and feelings can affect not only our state of mind, but also our overall physical health and consequently our quality of life.
Following a personal experience of hypno-psychotherapy in which a long-term health issue was resolved, I realised how powerful and effective these therapies can be and wanted to be able to help others in a similar way.
I am still amazed to this day how sometimes almost 'miraculous' results can be achieved; and whilst hypnotherapy is by no means guaranteed as a 100% ‘cure-all’, the difference it can make to so many peoples lives keeps me motivated, enthusiastic and inspired to helping others, like yourself, change your life.
